Coat of Arms

Coat of Arms
The Ontario Coat of Arms includes the Shield of Arms surrounded by common Ontario animals — the moose, deer and black bear.
The Latin motto — Ut incepit fidelis sic permanent — means: "Loyal she began, loyal she remains." This motto refers to the United Empire Loyalists who settled in Ontario to avoid becoming Americans in the days of the American Revolution.
